You can book a doctor’s appointment through our online booking system or by contacting our customer service. If you need a doctor for a home or hotel visit, please contact customer service directly:

Arrive at the Clinic
Please arrive about 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment and register at the clinic’s reception.
Remember to bring:
ID with photo (passport, identity card, or driver’s license), a list of your existing medications and a list of any medication allergies.
Pay and Claim Reimbursement
Doctor will write a complete medical report that you can submit to your health insurance company for reimbursement of your medical fees. If you have Spanish health care insurance (DKV, ASISA, etc.), please verify with your insurance company whether your policy allows you to seek treatment from any provider.
If you have travel insurance, you can then apply for reimbursement from your insurance provider. NOTE: SWEDISH | DANISH | NORWEGIAN TRAVELERS, you may receive Guarantee of Payment for the treatment costs at CostaDoctor. READ MORE.

1. Booking an Appointment
You can book a doctor's appointment or a lab testing appointment on online booking or in English through our customer service.
You can schedule an appointment by sending a message (via WhatsApp or text) or by calling us during our opening hours. Our customer service is available by phone on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

2. Arriving at Costadoctor
Please, arrive at our clinic on time, ideally about 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Upon arrival, check in at the reception desk.
Bring a photo ID with you, along with a list of your existing (if you have any) illnesses and medications.
If you need someone to accompany you to our clinic, please limit it to one person
3. Apply for insurance reimbursement

Initially, pay the treatment costs yourself, then apply for reimbursement from your insurance company. If you have travel insurance, you can typically claim reimbursement from your insurance provider.

If you are not fluent in Spanish or English, consider bringing someone who speaks the language or having a language-proficient person available by phone during your visit. If it’s not possible to have someone assist you with language skills, you can use Google Translate to help with communication.
