How to book lab test appointment:
1. Book lab test appointment
You can book a lab test appointment through online booking system 24/7 or trouh our customer service by calling on weekdays between 9 a.m to 2 p.m and other times by sending us a WhatsApp/text message at +358 45 490 0911.
When making the reservation, please specify the laboratory test package or individual laboratory tests you would like.
If you have a doctor referral for the tests, please mention the tests listed on the referral when you are booking lab test appoinment.
It is important to specify the tests when booking so that the sample collector can prepare to take the correct samples.
After booking, you will receive a confirmation via email and text message.
2. Arriving CostaDoctor clinic
Arrive about 10 minutes before the start of the scheduled appointment and register at the clinic's reception.
Remember to bring the following:
- ID with photo: passport, identity card or driver's license.
- List of existing medication
- List of medication allergies
- If you need someone come with you to clinic, please, bring a maximum of one person with you.
If you have been instructed to fast, please remember to follow this before coming to the laboratory. Always avoid heavy meals right before laboratory tests, even if fasting is not required.
3. Test results to your email
For the most common tests, you will receive your results via email within approximately 2 business days after the appoinment. For rarer tests, results may take longer.
The results will be sent to the email address you provided as a password-protected email.
The email you receive will include instructions on how to view the results and the password for the file containing your results.
4. If your values are outside the reference ranges, please book an appointment with a doctor
If your values are outside the reference ranges, we recommend scheduling an appointment for an in-person on our clinic or remote consultation with a doctor to discuss your results. The doctor will, if necessary, create a follow-up care or investigation plan during the consultation or provide guidance on how lifestyle changes could improve your health.
If you were referred for tests by a CostaDoctor referral, the doctor will contact you after the results are available, either by message or phone.
